  • UNCSA Undergraduate Opera Scenes

    Sunday, March 29th - 2 pm

    Agnes DeMille Theater

    Soprano Karen Ann Mason will be singing the role of Gaston in Offenbach’s operetta Monsieur et Madame Denis. This performance will take place as apart of the UNCSA opera scenes. It will be at 2 pm on March 29th and take place in the Agnes DeMill theater on UNCSA Campus.

    Crawford Hall

    The UNCSA Cantata Singers bring the school year to a close with a flourishing farewell, performing selections from a diverse repertoire for all vocal ranges. The UNCSA Cantata Singers are led by James Allbritten.

    Soprano Karen Ann Mason is honored to take part in the Opera Studio of AIMS this summer. She will be attending the program for 6 weeks in Graz, Austria. More information on performances to come!

Karen Ann

Karen Ann Mason is an American Lyric soprano who specializes in German and Italian operatic performance. Recongnized for the beauty and richness of her voice, she gives life to her performances, enchanting audiences internationally.

Mason frequently tours Germany performing notable roles in Mozart operas, and leads full symphony orchestras as the featured guest soloist.

Mason is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
