    Joining her peers in performing a collection of Verdi pieces, soprano Karen Ann Mason will be singing Libiamo in the role of Violetta from Verdi’s La Traviata. This is the first orchestra concert of the AIMS program and is lead by guest conductor Marizo Conti. It will be at 19.30 on July 16th and take place at Stefaniensaal.

    August 10th - Kammermusiksaal, Grazer Congress

    Soprano Karen Ann Mason will be singing the role of Giulettta in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi. This is fully staged concert featuring a collection of scenes from a variety of celebrated Italian operas. Both concerts begin at 19.30, the first on Saturday will be in Stieglerhaus St. Stefan ob Stainz and the second on Monday will be in Kammermusiksaal in Graz.

    The UNCSA Cantata Singers bring the school year to a close with a flourishing farewell, performing selections from a diverse repertoire for all vocal ranges. The UNCSA Cantata Singers are led by James Allbritten.

    August 14th, 15.00, Stadtpfarrkirche zum HI. Blut

    Soprano Karen Ann Mason will be singing Exsultate Jubilate, a four part sacred solo motet composed by Mozart. The concert will be accompanied by piano in the famous Stadtpfarrkirche in Graz. Concert begins at 15.00

Karen Ann Mason is an American Lyric soprano who specializes in German and Italian operatic performance. Recongnized for the beauty and richness of her voice, she gives life to her performances, enchanting audiences internationally.

Mason frequently tours Germany performing notable roles in Mozart operas, and leads full symphony orchestras as the featured guest soloist.

Mason is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
